Silica flour (quartz sand, silica powder), is a hard, wear-resistant, stable chemical properties silicate minerals, its main mineral composition is SiO2, quartz sand color is white, colorless or translucent, 7 hardness, brittle cleavage, conchatus fracture, oil sheen, density 2.65. The bulk density (20-200 for 1.5), the chemical, thermal and mechanical properties have obvious anisotropy, insoluble in acid, slightly soluble in KOH solution, the melting point of 1650 ℃.
Application:
silica flour is widely used in cement based polymer waterproofing agent, rubber, plastics, unsaturated polyester, paint, paint and other polymer material reinforcement, and modified ceramic products.
